The resident artists at Needle & Ink are the soul of the studio. Each one is hand-selected for their artistry, precision, and creative edge. They don’t just work here - they help define the atmosphere that makes Needle & Ink unlike anywhere else.

From fine-line and realism to bold blackwork and avant-garde concepts, our residents are masters of their craft. Every tattoo is personal, designed in collaboration with the client to ensure the result is as original as the person wearing it. 

All appointments are by appointment only, giving our artists the time and focus to create work without distraction.

Guest Artists

We regularly host world-class guest tattooists from across the globe - artists whose books are often full months in advance and who bring their unique styles to Essex for limited residencies. Each guest spot is carefully curated, offering clients the rare chance to be tattooed by internationally recognised artists in a private, boutique environment.

From Europe to the US and beyond, our guest tattooists represent the cutting edge of modern tattoo culture.

Guest spots are announced in advance on our Instagram, and bookings are first come, first served.
